About Dr. Heennilame Ratnayake

Dr. H Ratnayake is a Fertility Counselor and Clinical Embryologist, heading up a specialized practice which offers Male and Female Fertility Counseling, Fertility Investigation and a full complement of specialized medical Treatments related to Fertility issues. Dr. Ratnayake boasts an impressive array of prestigious qualifications to complement his years of experience in the medical field, particularly as a specialist in fertility. He graduated as a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Vinnista Medical University in 1988 and went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Sexual & Reproductive Health (DRH), in 2005, at the University of Colombo Post Graduate Institute of Medicine. In 2008, Dr. Ratnayake added a Diploma in Counseling to his growing list of qualifications, which he completed in Sri Lanka, at the Foundation Institute in Colombo.

Having already accumulated extensive in-field experience by 2010, Dr. Ratnayake furthered his studies with the addition of a Diploma in Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR) to his growing list of qualifications, at the Lund University in Sweden. The same year also saw him acquire a Certificate in Men’s Sexual and Reproductive Health, at Monash University in Australia. In yet another successful attempt at broadening his knowledgebase, Dr. Ratnayake completed his Master of Clinical Embryology (MSc Clin. Embryology), as recently as 2013 at the University of Leeds, UK.

In addition to his prestigious medical qualifications, Dr. Ratnayake has maintained a belief in constantly adding to his knowledge and skills base, with the aim of progressively improving the quality and range of services offered through his Life Plus (Pty) Ltd practice.
